Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator to join one of our clients based in Ayr.
As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of all supply chain transactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.
• Track inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment, working closely with the warehouse team to ensure stock accuracy.
• Process purchase orders, manage order confirmations, and track shipments from initiation to delivery.
• Assist with reporting and analysis on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain and update supplier and customer databases, ensuring up-to-date contact and delivery information.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely production schedules and effective communication across departments.
• Support the Supply Chain Manager with any administrative tasks and projects as required.
Key Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience in a supply chain, logistics, or administrative role is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
