About the role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with the latest technology in education? The Digital Transformation team is looking for a passionate and digitally confident individual to lead training and support teaching staff within our brand new immersive and virtual reality spaces at Scarborough TEC and East Riding College, Bridlington. Training for this role will be provided and there will be ongoing support from external companies providing the technology, as well as support from internal teams.
Duties will include:
* Facilitating the immersive and virtual space and providing daily ongoing support to staff and students.
* Working with curriculum areas across the organisation to develop assessment opportunities and create content.
* Work with Digital Champions in each curriculum area to share best practice and promote different methods of assessing learning.
* Working with external companies to make sure staff are getting the best out of pre-existing content and training packages.
* Working with teaching staff to adapt current teaching methods to incorporate the use of immersive and virtual reality technologies, enhancing the learning experience and keeping teaching practices at the forefront of technological advancements.
About the person
The successful candidate will be digitally confident as well as having the skills and aptitude for delivering training and supporting staff across all curriculum areas.
Candidates should also have:
* Good knowledge of learning and assessment processes.
* Ability to problem solve and be solution-focused.
