The Role
Are you ready to make a real impact in sustainability? Join Holland and Barrett as an ESG Analyst and help us lead the charge in shaping a greener future. In this dynamic role, you'll support the ESG Manager in driving carbon emissions reporting and ensuring compliance with European sustainability standards, including the CSRD and CSDDD. From project tracking to data management, you'll be involved in every step of our ESG journey, all while collaborating with passionate teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support ESG reporting, with a focus on carbon emissions and staying ahead of regulatory standards (CSRD, CSDDD).
2. Manage ESG data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our business goals and global targets.
3. Prepare materials for ESG governance meetings - presentations, agendas, and minutes to keep the momentum going.
4. Track and coordinate ESG projects, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
5. Provide vital administrative support to keep ESG governance running smoothly.
6. Help execute ESG strategies, ensuring our long-term goals are achieved.
7. Collaborate closely with teams to align ESG efforts with company-wide objectives.
8. Dive into data analysis to uncover trends and insights that drive change.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in London with requirements to be in the office twice a week.
The Person
1. A solid understanding of ESG principles, carbon reporting, and relevant regulations.
2. Experience in ESG or sustainability roles, ideally within retail or a similar sector.
3. Strong project management and organisational skills, with a knack for multitasking.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of presenting complex info to senior stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with sustainability reporting tools.
6. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for sustainability and social impact.
