Description Key Roles and Responsibilities: Coordinate and execute procurement activities for direct materials needed for production processes, ensuring adherence to production schedules and inventory requirements. Generate purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and track order status to facilitate timely delivery and availability of materials. Develop and maintain relationships with direct material suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to secure favorable agreements while upholding quality standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier inquiries, issue resolution, and performance evaluation. Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and supplier correspondence. Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, such as order cycle time, inventory levels, and supplier performance, to support decision-making and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Key Competencies: Strong experience in procurement, preferably in direct procurement within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of inventory management principles and procurement best practices. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Essential Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
