My client are a Design & Build Electrical Contractor who were established in the early 2000's. With offices in both London and Essex, they are now seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team, who lives in a commutable distance to Liverpool Street Station. However they do allow flexible working either from their office bases or home.\n\nThey specialise in commercial office fit outs ranging from £5k - £2m so the successful project manager must have experience running small contracts simultaneously alongside running larger projects. \n\nIdeally one that works on design and build projects and is used to running multiple jobs at once. \n\nThe Project Manager will work closely with the Senior Management team to support the tendering, estimating and delivery of electrical building services projects and contracts throughout London, most clients are based within the M25.
It is expected that the Project Manager will spend their time working from site covering site visits, surveys, and meetings.\n\nElectrical Project Manager Position Overview and Requirements\n\nAs a Project Manager you will have good all-round electrical knowledge within the engineering industry and have a proven successful track record of managing electrical services contracts.\n\nExperience running design and build projects within the commercial sector essential\n\nManaging main contract & other smaller contracts\n\nManaging sub-contractors\n\nDealing with procurement / purchasing of required materials via our in-house procurement manager\n\nManaging budgets and P&L\n\nEnsuring all health & safety procedures are adhered to and that all H&S documentation is in line with the client's requirements.\n\nCapable of producing/updating CVIs, RFIs and final O and M manuals for projects themselves.\nThe applicant will be responsible for taking forward the project delivery following handover from the pre-construction team. \n\nCandidate to have\n\nGood overall electrical knowledge\nExperience in running multiple small and large projects at the same time.\nCommercial experience e.g. cost control and reporting throughout each project\nLiaising with client's contracts managers in regard to accounts\nEstimating and Design experience advantageous but not essential\nMust be professional and confident with excellent communication skills\nMust be computer literate and have experience in using both word and excel as a minimum\n\nSALARY & PACKAGE \n\n£70,000 \nWorking Hours 8am – 5pm\nFlexible Working\nPension\nTravel Expenses\n20 days holiday + BH\n6 months' probation period\n\nPLEASE CONTACT SEAN HITCHMAN ON (phone number removed) / (url removed)
