Senior Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Walsall - Main Contractor - Major Water Schemes - Hybrid Working

Our client is an established contractor working on non-infrastructure water schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their highly successful team. This is a permanent position based in the Walsall area with the option for hybrid working.
Your new role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
1. Preparing and submitting applications for payment
2. Providing monthly cost reports in line with project budgets
3. Managing subcontractor packages from appointment to final account
4. Submitting valuations and variations on schemes
5. Procuring subcontractors.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
6. Experience at a Senior Quantity Surveyor level
7. Good working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 form of contracts
8. Sound interpersonal and organisational skills
9. Experience working on mechanical and/or electrical works in the water sector (ideal).
