V&A Wedgwood Collection
Region: West Midlands
Salary / Fee: From £33,764 to £33,764
Job Type: Full-time (24-month post)
The V&A is a family of museums dedicated to the power of creativity. Our mission is to champion design and creativity in all its forms, advance cultural knowledge, and inspire makers, creators, and innovators everywhere. We share a 5,000-year-old story of creativity through exhibitions, events, educational programmes, digital experiences, conservation, research, and an ever-evolving national collection of over 2.8 million objects spanning every creative discipline.
This role will develop and deliver the ongoing transformation of the Learning offer at the V&A Wedgwood Collection. The Learning Producer will plan and prepare programmes for schools, young people, and families, including events, school visits, teacher CPD, workshops, trails, performances, talks, online events, youth groups, and drop-in activities for a range of audiences and learners. You will connect with our community and educational partners and play an important role in building the V&A Wedgwood Collection’s local partnerships as a learning hub. You will develop and pilot exciting small-scale projects to inspire the next generation of young people. You will design, test, and scale up ideas, presenting and writing case studies to support bids for project development and to build an engaging learning offer at the V&A Wedgwood Collection.
The post holder will be embedded in the V&A Wedgwood Collection team, working closely with the V&A’s partners at World of Wedgwood, Learning Events Assistants, Workshop Leaders, and with colleagues across the multi-site V&A, particularly the V&A Learning and National Programmes team based at V&A South Kensington.
