My client is looking for an experienced purchasing assistant for their growing business based in Pitstone.
Ideally you will be confident and have SAGE 50 experience when it comes to the purchase ledger.
Duties to include:
* Order materials, equipment and specialist supplies for site, negotiating best price (in conjunction with other team members)
* Raise purchase orders and file onto workspace document control / filing system)
* Co-ordinate deliveries between supplier and site
* Match and check invoices against purchase orders, code all invoices
* Review retrospective discounts on prices
* Post and process purchase ledger invoices and payments
* Set up new supplier accounts and maintain their details
* Produce SAGE/EXCEL reports and analysis
* Assist with other general office administration tasks when needed
