About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Improvement Facilitator to join our team on a temporary full-time basis for a period of up to 9 months. As part of Penrith City Council’s Business Improvement team, the Business Improvement Facilitator will be responsible for supporting the Business Improvement Lead in delivering business improvement projects and undertaking our service review program, to improve processes, and drive service efficiencies for our customers. About you To be successful in this role, you must have a can-do attitude, a desire to build relationships and be proactive in your approach to work. You’ll have a history of implementing continuous improvement solutions in Government organisations or large corporations through facilitating workshops, collecting and interpreting data. Essential criteria Tertiary qualification in Business or related related field in business improvement with previous experience Demonstrated experience and ability in researching, collecting, analysing and interpreting data and processes, to solve problems and improve business performance Demonstrated written and oral communication skills via consultation, facilitation, engagement, and relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholders. Understanding and working knowledge of project management, business improvement or human-centred design methodologies, processes and tools with formal Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification/training Highly organised with experience in coordinating and scheduling meetings and workshops with stakeholders and collating results and outcomes while working within timeframes Desirable criteria An understanding of the range of services provided by local government Experience working with Promapp and working knowledge of Human Centred Design Commencing salary: $96,174.00 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation.
