Your Role as an HGV Driver/Operative:
As a HGV Driver/Operative, you’ll split your time between driving Class 2 vehicles and supporting operations on-site. This is more than just a driving role—you’ll be an integral part of the team, contributing to various tasks that ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities of the HGV Driver/Operative:
* Safely operating Class 1 HGV vehicles for transportation and deliveries.
* Supporting site operations by performing CCNSG duties when not driving, including:
o Cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
o Working in confined spaces, adhering to strict safety standards.
o Assisting with general operational and housekeeping duties.
* Completing vehicle checks and maintaining accurate records.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and operational goals.
What We’re Looking for in a HGV Driver/Operative:
* Qualifications: Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving License and CCNSG Safety Passport.
* Skills: Strong understanding of HGV operations and an adaptable, team-oriented approach.
* Mindset: A commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to switch seamlessly between driving and operative tasks.
* Experience: Previous experience in an HGV driving and site operative role is highly desirable.
