About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a client facing environment to join our Private Client Team. This team acts for a vast number of high net worth clients as well as numerous private family and charitable trusts.
Based in our Northampton Office, you will provide in-depth business support to the Partners and fee earners within the team. This role will see you working on a great variety of interesting tasks and would be well suited to someone with a flair for PA duties.
Responsibilities of a Senior Legal Support Assistant include:
1. Proactive diary management for allocated fee earners.
2. Preparing correspondence and documents through audio typing and word-processing.
3. Drafting and formatting of letters, documents and forms.
4. Being the first point of contact for clients.
5. Liaising directly with third parties such as banks, the Probate Registry and HMRC.
6. Administrative and business support for allocated fee earners, anticipating the team's needs where possible.
7. Assisting with the preparation of all financial transactions as required.
About You
As a Senior Legal Support Assistant you will have:
1. An adaptable and personable telephone etiquette and experience of working in a client facing environment.
2. Proactive nature and excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
3. Strong administration experience with a flair for PA duties.
4. Experience within a legal, medical or professional services environment; former experience within the Private Client sector would be extremely desirable.
5. Sound IT knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
