You and Your Team: As an Application Support Lead, youll play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our software systems. Reporting to the Head of Solution Enablement, youll lead a team of 8 talented colleagues, working with cutting-edge technology to configure SAAS-based applications, support live systems, and drive impactful change. As a Application Support Lead, you will: Configuring and implementing software changes to align with business needs. Diagnosing and resolving system defects and issues, ensuring live systems run smoothly. Collaborating with the DevOps team to deploy software releases and monitor performance. Participating in Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and team ceremonies. Documenting system configurations for long-term efficiency and support. Leading and mentoring a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance system reliability. Key qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: Experience working within a software delivery team, ideally in a DevOps or Agile setting. Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and release management. Hands-on experience with system integration, configuration, and maintenance. Basic knowledge of SQL scripting (including Stored Procedures). Exposure to Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages (bonus, but not essential). A customer-focused, solutions-driven mindset with a passion for problem-solving. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative and proactive approach, thriving in an Agile environment. A team leader who inspires and supports their colleagues to achieve success.
