Contract Assignment - Data Centre Operations Engineer / Lab Technician
Reference - 18276
Day Rate - £300 - £340 a day (Inside IR35 determination)
Duration - 6 months extendable
Start Date - Jan 2025
Location - Barnsley / Sheffield area - South Yorkshire - ON SITE IN DATA CENTRE (Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm)

Experience:
* Experience as a Data Center technician or in a similar role
* Must Data Centre experience and x86 Hardware expertise
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Installation and removal of IT Equipment in the IT Labs
* Documenting processes and procedures
* Monitoring and performing on-going maintenance on servers and network equipment.
* Manage booking portal
* Constant communication with other colleagues in other teams / Business - and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe
Technical Skills:
1. Extensive experience of x86 Hardware and associated components (DELL, Lenovo, HPE, Intel)
2. Extensive experience in installation and removal of IT Equipment in the IT Labs.
3. Proficiency in documenting network processes.
