Learning Support Assistant
We are looking for SEND Learning Support Assistants to work in Primary Schools in Chelmsford, supporting pupils on a one to one basis with their learning in the classroom.
As an SEND Learning Support Assistant you may be working with one child, or more small group of children who have learning difficulties.
The most common roles are: supporting children with Autism, disruptive behaviour, learning delay, speech and language, down syndrome and hearing impaired. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the pupils in and out of the classroom.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Previous experience working as an SEND Learning Support Assistant
2. Lots of patience, understanding and passion for the job
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. High levels of self motivation and drive
5. Be able to set clear boundaries and structure
6. Strong commitment to their own professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
