Quality Manager – Camberley Area

Our client, a market leader in the engineering sector, is seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to join their team based in the Camberley area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving quality standards across the business while working within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and administration of the organisation’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). You will lead initiatives to maintain compliance with current and emerging legislation while promoting best practices throughout the company.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing and managing the company’s ISO 9001 QMS, ensuring consistent adherence to high-quality standards.
* Ensuring compliance with legislative updates and regulatory requirements.
* Conducting internal audits and performing quality inspections on sites and projects.
* Championing quality improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence within the business.
* Analysing complaints and non-conformances, working collaboratively with the Supply Chain Team to resolve issues.
* Evaluating and monitoring supplier and subcontractor performance, in partnership with the Supply Chain Manager.
* Managing quality budgets and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Reviewing and reporting on corrective actions and non-conformity resolutions across all areas of the business.
About You:
The successful Quality Manager will have a proven track record in managing quality systems within an engineering or similar environment. You will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Key skills and experience required:
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS implementation.
* Experience conducting audits and inspections.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to embed quality best practices.
* Familiarity with supplier evaluation processes.
* A results-driven mindset with the ability to manage budgets effectively and identify areas for improvement.
