Do you have industry experience in carpentry, bricklaying, plastering, plumbing, roofing or the maintenance trades? Whilst the perfect candidate will have a teaching or assessor qualification, it’s your industry skills, experience and desire to help young people get into construction roles that we really want. You’ll need to be:
great at explaining things simply and clearly
hardworking and organised
passionate about providing students with a brilliant learning experience
able to teach and assess (ideally with a teaching and/or assessing qualification but for the right candidate we’d be willing to train you)
experienced in at least one of the building trades
You’ll:
teach and assess in our Maintenance Dept in our Faculty of Construction
support students to succeed
support your colleagues and wider team
