About The Role
We are currently looking for a Primary School Catering Assistant to join our enthusiastic and hardworking kitchen team based at Silkstone Common Primary School. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, between 10:00 am to 1:45 pm, working alongside other team members in a busy kitchen environment to provide nutritious meals to pupils.
Responsibilities
* Support your supervisor in the production of healthy and nutritious meals each day.
* Assist in the setting up of dining areas, serving of meals, and all associated cleaning duties.
* Work as a team to ensure meals are ready for service.
* Maintain a polite and friendly manner while dealing with staff and pupils.
About You
The successful candidate will be of a positive and can-do nature who thrives in a busy environment. Experience of working within a team and to deadlines would be advantageous. A Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential; all training will be provided.
