The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is currently looking for a Catering & Events Supervisor to join the Commercial Team in The Garden Café at Anne Hathaways Cottage. This is a 24 hours per week part-time permanent contract, shifts are 9.15am to 5.45pm and you will work four days a week between Monday and Sunday including alternate weekends. The role will take a supervisory responsibility for the Cafe team as well as carrying out the preparation and service of food and drink for internal and external events. All aspects of catering duties including compliance will be involved, ensuring yourself and the team take all opportunities to maximise sales. To be successful in this role you will have experience of supervising a customer facing team and delivering a range of events. You will be committed to providing exceptional customer service, have excellent interpersonal skills, be confident liaising with various departments, and be able to negotiate with our internal and external customers. You will be reliable, flexible to work at peak times and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. The closing date for applications is Sunday 9 February 2025.
