Allowances:
Arelocation scheme allowance of up to £8,000 is available for this post (subject to criteria). Alternatively a travel allowance is available for commuting from the south coast (subject to criteria)

We have this 'once in a career' opportunity to join the team setting up a brand new educational psychology department within our new Childrens Services Directorate at the Isle of Wight Council?
What will you be doing?
* Be part of the team who will set up theEducationalPsychologyService.
* Be part of thestrategicprojectstheEducationalPsychologyServiceleadon.
* Develop and apply knowledge and skills in assessment, monitoring and tracking progress of children and young people with SEN.
* Support in the development of developing and monitoring service planning, including KPIs and statutory timeframes.
* Be part of developing a traded offer.
* RepresenttheEPServicewithin the various meetings andpartnerships.
* Work with senior colleagues to driveforwardthe Education Strategy.
* Work with senior colleagues to improve SEN provision across the Island and contribute towards our Safety Valve work.
* Have a wide range of work including statutory and non-statutory work.
