Team Leadership: Managing a team of Decontamination Specialist Estates Officers and Apprentices. Providing leadership, training, and guidance to ensure the team delivers high-quality service. Decontamination Equipment Management: Overseeing the maintenance, testing, and validation of all medical device decontamination equipment. This includes sterilisers, washer disinfectors, clean steam systems, HSDU (Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit) and CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) plant/equipment, pathology autoclaves, and associated engineering systems.
