SENIOR LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER ALL-ROUNDER – LONDON Reference Number NA84 Country United Kingdom Salary From £35,000 Salary To £40,000 Salary Period annum Job Type Permanent Job Hours Full-time We are assisting a lovely elderly couple who are seeking a dedicated and professional all-rounder housekeeper to replace their current housekeeper, who is retiring after 28 years of exemplary service at the end of May. The role involves managing two adjoining flats in Kensington and a house in Hampshire, with responsibilities including overseeing the daily operations of both properties. The couple now spends approximately 3-4 days per week in London, typically one week in three, with more frequent visits during the winter months and less in the summer. The London flats occupy the entire first floor of a modern, 21st-century building. One of the flats serves as the owners’ living space, while the other is their home office space. Duties will include laundry and cleaning, preparing and clearing away a cooked breakfast, and preparing some additional light meals. The housekeeper will also be expected to travel to their Hampshire property for a few days around twice a month. During these times, they will work alongside the second gardener’s wife, who assists with laundry and ironing on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be required to work a flexible four-day week, Monday – Thursday.
