If you are then we have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to be a part of our team on the Coronary Care Unit. We are a 13 bed high dependency unit providing care for a variety of patients with different cariology issues.
We accept admissions from The Emergency department, Medical Assessment Unit, Outpatient Clinics, Catheter Suite as well as directly from the Ambulance.
We are looking for an experienced nurse to become a valued member of our team. The Coronary Care Unit is a supportive and friendly unit where we pride ourselves on excellent patient care.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a short rotation between The Catheter Suite and Ward 408 to enable a greater understanding of cardiology as a whole. This will only be at the start for approximately 1-2 months in each area before settling in CCU.
You will be educated in how to use Balloon Pumps, CPAP, CVADs, Cannulation, Venepuncture, Cardiac Monitoring, to assist in PPCI, ECGs and ECG interpretation.
We take a Multi-disciplinary approach with all our patients, providing compassionate, individualised and holistic care. We are closely linked to the Cardiac Catheter Suite, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Ward 408.
The ward has a supportive, motivated Senior Team who have a passion for developing their team and patient care. We are dynamic and open to change embracing the ever changing demands of our busy service.
