Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
You will be part of our exciting future-focused Cyber Security Programme, getting the opportunity to lead Cyber projects that touch all users across the University. You will manage the end-to-end delivery of commercially complex, high-risk Cyber projects, working within the Programme and the wider Digital Services team. You will take ownership of the projects from concept to closure and will liaise closely with all stakeholders, vendors, and users.
In this challenging role you will be:
* Working closely with our CISO, leading a wide variety of projects within our Cyber Security Programme, implementing leading technologies.
* Managing projects end to end, working with the wider programme team.
* Working in a growing portfolio management team with a chance to contribute to how we work.
* No boring run-of-the-mill or 'easy' projects - lots of opportunities and challenges to get your teeth into!
You will also contribute to the development of the project management practice, helping to remove barriers and implement identified process improvements.
Mōu | Who You Are
You are an experienced senior project manager, having led and loved working in Cyber Security Projects. You need to have a good understanding of IT environments and the software development lifecycle.
You will be a great people person, with a positive proactive attitude and a willingness to get things done. You will be able to manage multi-functional teams, leading them to deliver great business outcomes. A sense of humour would also be useful!
As you will be working in an agile manner, it's important that you enjoy problem-solving, are an effective communicator and can adapt to shifting priorities.
You will be dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders, so it's important that you can build productive and positive relationships with a range of people.
Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With
You will work closely with the Cyber team and the wider Digital Services team. Depending on the exact project being managed you will work with teams across UC. You will be part of our Portfolio Management and Delivery practice, sitting within the wider Digital Services team. While you will report into the Head of Portfolio Management, day to day you will work closely with our CISO.
Our Digital Team is on an exciting transformation journey, supporting UC to deliver a large amount of change. You will work closely with Product Managers, Product Directors, and other members of the Digital team, as well as multiple other teams across UC.
