Are you tired of the same old workshop routine? Fancy swapping your usual patch for one that spans airports across Europe? If you're a skilled service technician who's comfortable with tools, travel, and tight schedules, read on.
What's the Job About?
You'll be the go-to expert for repairing and maintaining specialized ground support equipment - the kind of kit that keeps airports running smoothly. Expect to travel to major hubs, get hands-on with advanced machinery, and solve real problems under pressure. No two days are the same.
Here's what you'll do:
Fix, service, and commission equipment that keeps the aviation industry moving
Travel (yes, travel - up to 150 days a year) to customer sites across Europe
Be the last set of eyes before equipment is delivered to customers
Share your technical wisdom with clients and your own team
Keep your work tidy and your paperwork tidier
About You
This isn't for everyone. We're looking for someone who:
Has a technical qualification in engineering or similar
Knows their way around hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrics - and can read diagrams to boot
Doesn't flinch at the thought of high-pressure, customer-facing situations
Can document their work properly
Holds a clean UK driving license and is happy to clock up the miles
Bonus points if you've already worked on ground support equipment or similar machinery
Why You'll Love This Job
You'll get to work with cutting-edge machinery
You'll be out and about - not stuck behind a desk
The aviation industry is dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-evolving - and so is this role
You'll join a supportive team where your skills will genuinely make a difference
