We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to become a key part of our committed team. You will take a leading role in managing a varied caseload, tackling complex and high-risk situations to secure positive outcomes for vulnerable adults, children, and their families. Key Responsibilities : Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs, devise comprehensive care and support plans, and liaise with external support services within financial limits. Employ a variety of evidence-based interventions to provide all-encompassing support to individuals and families, ensuring their multifaceted needs are met effectively. Act as a protector of safety for adults and children at risk, respond swiftly and sensitively in crisis situations, and proactively manage potential risks to clients. Provide guidance and mentorship to social work students and less experienced colleagues, and confidently chair a range of professional care and safeguarding meetings. Qualifications and Experience : A degree in Social Work or a related field, along with significant experience in statutory social work settings. A solid understanding of court processes, best interest assessments, and a history of making informed decisions in intricate cases. Expertise in two or more of the following specialisations: Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (Best Interests Assessor) / Liberty Protection Scheme (Approved Mental Capacity Professional – AMCP when implemented).
