Job Description
* Providing 1st & 2nd line technical support to employees across the company.
* Resolving service desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
* Maintaining a high level of customer service for all support queries.
* Working closely with the technology team to resolve more complex issues.
* Documenting all actions in line with company and industry standards.
* Assisting in the management of software and hardware inventories.
* Participating in IT projects as required.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of the service desk function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Service Desk team member should have:
* An educational background in a related field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
* Strong skills in diagnosing and solving hardware and software issues.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* A good understanding of retail industry systems and applications.
* Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
