We are looking for a Deputy Associate Director of Nursing and Patient Experience to join our team on a fixed term/secondment basis for 6 months.
This role would suit an aspiring nurse leader and is a fantastic development opportunity.
This is a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice across the Mental Health Care Division. You will be working with the Associate Director of Nursing and Patient Experience in the delivery of the highest standard/quality of care for users of our service. Your leadership will be central to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and providing motivational guidance to our clinical teams.

This role includes:
• To lead and support the development of processes to monitor effectiveness and quality of care delivered within the Division.
• To provide professional leadership and direction to the nursing workforce in the Division and be at the forefront of multi-disciplinary practice within services.
• Take a significant role and on the development of strategic workforce plans for all professional groups across the Division and ensure they contribute to new and emerging service models in the Division as directed by Associate Director of Nursing
• To empower the service user and carer voice within service delivery and developments.
• To monitor standards of service user care, engagement and participation across all settings and, taking improvement and corrective action as required.
• To lead and develop the service user and carer involvement and engagement strategy and Equality & Diversity Agendas within the Division.
• Support any CQC surveys and lead on any ensuing action plans arising from surveys.
• Support the Associate Director of Nursing with the governance systems and processes ensuring effective governance nursing management with the Division and develop a quality assurance framework.

• Lead PSIRF process and implement learning across the mental health care division
• Lead role in medicine incident safety huddle and learning from medicines incidents
• Deputise for Associate Director of Nursing
