An exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Homecare Team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
The Pharmacy Homecare department currently provides a service for approximately 5000 patients, coordinating the ordering, invoicing, and contracts for UHBW.
The post holder will assist with administrative tasks involved with the delivery of the service and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on the pharmacy system.
The post holder should have excellent communication and IT skills and be able to prioritise workload to accommodate the demands within the team and service. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to work and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Some home working is an option as part of a hybrid working arrangement; however, the post holder is expected to view this arrangement flexibly and must be prepared to attend the workplace as and when required.
Main duties of the job
* To provide a consistent and reliable support service to all departments within the Trust.
* To ensure invoice and credit notes are processed in accordance with the homecare providers' terms and conditions.
* To liaise with homecare providers and creditor payments to resolve outstanding financial issues and queries that may arise.
* To create, update, and maintain the pharmacy computer system drug file database through contracting and invoicing processes.
* Retrieve data associated with the homecare service from the Trust and Pharmacy systems as required.

Qualifications and Training
* Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths
Knowledge and Experience
* Previous experience of Pharmacy Services including homecare
* Previous NHS experience
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent/professional telephone manner with a strong customer focus
* Flexible approach to duties
* Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy
* Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
* Ability to work effectively in a busy team, adjust to change and motivate others
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
