Can you support unpaid Carers by assessing their needs? n-compass are looking to recruit a Part Time (19.5 hours per week) Carers Information & Support Officer as part of the Bury team,who will benefit from joining a busy and dynamic team in a truly hybrid working environment.The role is to cover the Bury area, and proactively identify unpaid Carers, provide them with information, advice and supporting them to access services, peer support and short break opportunities in order to reduce the impact of their caring role. About you We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting unpaid Carers to reduce the impacts of their caring role by providing professional and quality support. We are looking for people with; the ability to listen and communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals; experience of sensitively discussing and gathering information from people who want to access support; and the ability to provide individualised 1-1 support to adults.
