To support the business by educating, influencing and advising key stakeholders on commercial best practices in order to contribute to the long-term growth and profitability of the CBRE | GWS | Enterprise, in line with the wider Commercial strategy. Support new and existing business and growth together with providing day-to-day support to the Sector leadership and Account teams.
What you'll do:
1. Provides Commercial leadership and expertise on commercial agreements, including commercial terms, areas of risk and reward, operational compliance, cost control, financial responsibilities and liabilities, milestone obligations.
2. Works with other executives, functional leaders and subject matter experts to support their Sector / Accounts achieve their commercial goals.
3. Evaluates the success of the Sector in achieving its commercial goals and formulates plans / identifies and implements initiatives to correct any issues.
4. Contributes to sales innovations, strategic business development, and the profitability of the Sector.
5. Drives collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions, share and develop best practices.
6. Form and lead internal teams, providing training and mentorship as needed.
7. Negotiate and agree contracts to the mutual satisfaction of both parties.
8. Promote compliance with CBRE governance, policies and procedures.
9. Educate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
10. Develop Sector leadership commercial awareness through meetings, presentations, training courses and advice.
What you'll need:
1. Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
2. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
3. Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
4. Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets.
5. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
6. Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
7. Expert math skills for complex calculations.
8. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation: The minimum salary for the position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $175,000 annually. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
