Role Requirements
We are looking for a Production Control Lead based at our site in Irvine, responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring readiness for all manufacturing operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage all production processes to ensure a smooth execution for all manufacturing operations within EFACS.
2. Develop EFACS using CI tools, methods and digitalisation.
3. Liaise with the Engineering department on routing methods and ensure program requests are submitted in a timely manner.
4. Ensure all ECNs are captured and processed.
5. Enforce production control procedures and ensure these are followed and adhered to at all times.
6. Monitor plan vs actual & work with the Manufacturing Lead to ensure Partmasters are updated to support future bids.
7. Manage resources to ensure planning is complete in a timely manner through delegation of work.
8. Communicate and provide feedback to the Master Scheduler regarding any routing amendments.
9. Attend pre-production meetings (PPM’s) to represent the production department and ensure that any concerns or complications are highlighted.
10. Run daily meetings to drive efficiency through the planning department.
11. Drive a culture of 5S workplace organisation, H&S & quality.

1. Lead and motivate teams of production workers, Team Leaders, and support staff. Strong leadership skills are necessary to manage.
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement:
1. Be familiar with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Kaizen.
Technical Knowledge:
1. Possess a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the production process, including equipment, machinery, materials, and relevant technologies. This knowledge helps in making informed decisions and troubleshooting issues.
Accountabilities and Performance Measures
1. Readiness for all production and manufacturing processes.
2. Employee engagement and satisfactory training completion.
3. Cost savings from process improvements.
4. Schedule adherence and production documentation cycle time.

Job Requirements Qualifications
1. Previous experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred but not essential.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience operating ERP systems.
3. Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar.
4. EFACS experience is advantageous.
5. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control methodologies.
6. Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools for production management and analysis.
7. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
8. Proven track record of effective team leadership, motivation, and development.
