Job Description
This is a part time post and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.
The Cook will form part of the Catering Team within the Care Home and Day Centre for older people. They will be required to work between Queens Quay care home and Crosslet House Care Home.
The post holder will assist the Catering Manager with the day to day operational requirements of the kitchen. Duties will Include, food preparation, cooking of nutritional meals and special diets, service of all foods and supervision of staff. The post holder will ensure that the cleaning, maintenance and checking of equipment are completed and relevant paper work is recorded and reported as required in order to comply with Cook Safe regulations.
Hours of work will be 25.9 hrs per week, working either 07.00 – 15.00 or 10.00-18.00. This will include some weekend shifts.
