Amazon is seeking a self-motivated, highly organized and creative communications professional to join the International Stores Comms team (supporting across the EMEA, APAC and LATAM regions). This is a new role that sits within the Central Stores Programs comms team, as part of Amazon’s Global Stores Comms organization. The individual will report into the Shopping Events, Planning and Insights comms lead and support the strategic planning and global coordination of high-priority moments, with a focus on business-critical Stores announcements, such as Amazon’s biggest shopping events, as well as top-tier partner team initiatives that align with team priorities. This individual will also represent the International Stores comms team in global working groups – across measurement, internal communications, and executive communications – defining best practice and guiding local teams to amplify our work effectively internally and externally year-round. The candidate will have a track record of strategic planning and successful delivery of major multichannel comms campaigns; project management experience, experience of managing senior stakeholders and working across multiple locales and with varied stakeholders; confidence in identifying and managing PR risk and crisis communications in order to protect brand reputation; and experience of delivering best-in-class measurement and evaluation of comms programming. The candidate should be goal-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
