We are working with a fantastic Alternative Provision school based in Liverpool that is seeking a dedicated full-time Youth Worker to support their students both emotionally and academically. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your youth work experience to guide students who have struggled in mainstream education. You’ll play a vital role in helping them reach their full potential by offering consistent support, building trust, and breaking down barriers to learning. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with young people with challenging behaviour Be familiar with trauma-informed practice and understand the impact of adverse childhood experiences Be enthusiastic, proactive, and able to use their initiative effectively Work well under pressure and remain calm and supportive in high-stress situations Be committed to building strong relationships with students and staff to foster a safe, nurturing environment In This Role, You Will: Support students on a one-to-one and small group basis, both in and out of the classroom Help manage behaviour in a calm and consistent way Act as a positive role model, promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience Assist in delivering activities and interventions designed to re-engage students in their education If you're an experienced Youth Worker ready to take on a full-time role in a supportive and purpose-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.
