About our Business Analyst role.
The role of Business Analyst is a unique and fantastic opportunity. Fully integrated into the global delivery of this strategy. You will collaborate with regional senior web strategists, senior web delivery managers, GECO (Global Ecommerce & Optimization),platform team and data insights and reporting,(WS&D - Web Strategy & Delivery) to identify continuous improvements and enhancements to www.sage.com, establishing core project requirements that shall deliver significant advancements in both customer experience and ambitious performance growth.
The Business Analyst is responsible for engaging with colleagues across Sage to capture, analyse and document www.sage.com project requirements, often working across multiple projects concurrently and in multiple teams. In this role, you will work closely with several digital functions, including SEO and GECO. Experience in design and content, platform team, and the wider business to ensure that the requirements for the optimisation of www.sage.com are understood and agreed upon and will form the delivery plan for execution.
Location - 3 days per week out of our Winnersh, London or Newcastle office.
Please note this is a fixed term contact for 12 months due to start in Jan or Feb 2025
Key Responsibilities
Summary of your day to day?
In this role, you will support the evaluation of the current Sage.com landscape to identify and document existing user journeys, pages, functional elements, and content elements. Working closely with the analytics lead, you will analyze these experiences to pinpoint testing opportunities. You will collaborate with the platform lead to assess the feasibility and impact of potential changes, determining necessary development versus content requirements and evaluating solutions such as Sitecore or supplementary technologies. Additionally, you will work alongside the platform lead to gather accurate user stories and acceptance criteria, and with the senior/web delivery manager to develop comprehensive implementation and delivery plans, including timelines, roles, and responsibilities. In coordination with the platform lead and experience design (XD) lead, you'll assess potential impacts on the Sage.com pattern library, whether involving new patterns, variants, or replacements. Throughout the project, you will ensure clear requirements traceability by logging all references in Jira, supporting seamless project management from start to finish.
Key Skills and experience;
•Experience in a Business Analyst or Project Management type of role.
•Project Management or Agile qualifications (Certification in either is a must)
