A leading player in the industry is currently looking for a Shift Engineer to join their growing team, covering a commercial contract in Brixworth. The Role As the Shift Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the following: Working on a shift pattern, 4 shifts, 2 weeks on each shift, ranging from 6am-11pm, 2pm-11pm- no overnight attendance other than if called out; call out rota will be 2 weeks out of eight. General maintenance duties as and when required – emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, ppm’s, reactive maintenance. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in the role of Shift Engineer, you’ll bring the following skills and experience to the role: You will hold relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications – 18th Edition, NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installations, NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering. Experience in a facilities maintenance / building service role is essential. What’s in it for you?
