Job description
To work in all areas of laboratory, processing and packing lines; Technical, Quality Systems, NPD and Supply Chain departments to produce cream liqueur and other alcoholic beverages in accordance with the production plan and to the required specifications.
Responsibilities
* Carry out duties of a Production Operator/ QA Tech/ NPD Tech when working in the relevant department.
* Operation of production and/or laboratory equipment.
* Maintain all relevant records to meet legislation and internal Quality Management Systems.
* Clean and maintain all tanks, plant and pipe work, wall and floor surfaces etc. to meet an acceptable hygiene standard.
* Contribute to problem solving within the Operations department.
* Assist in staff training.
* Participate in internal and third party audits.
* Assist in other areas of the business when/if necessary.
* Carry out all duties within the Company’s HACCP and Health and Safety procedures.
* Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including Company Health and Safety Policy and Equal Opportunities Policy.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent including English Language, Mathematics and a science subject at grade C or above.
* Must have, or will have achieved before the start of September 2025, a minimum of two A-Levels or equivalent qualifications (which could include a Level 3 Extended Diploma or Level 3 Apprenticeship).
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Flexible with regard to overtime working including early mornings, weekends and shifts.
* High level of manual dexterity.
* Ability to maintain high standards of personal hygiene, workplace cleanliness and quality.
Desirable Skills
* Some experience in a factory environment.
* Computer literate especially in MS Office.
Further Information
The successful candidate will attend CAFRE (Loughry Campus) on block release throughout the year for the duration of their 3 year contract whilst studying for the Foundation Degree in Food and Drink Manufacturing.
