As a Document Administrator you will work alongside key supporting functions and engineering teams responsible for manufacturing and delivering components for Britain’s Nuclear Submarine fleet.
You will be responsible for checking manufacturing documents for completeness and managing input of data into SAP. This is a key role which requires ability to focus and concentrate to ensure that documents are correct before parts are issued to manufacture or stores.
The role will also involve significant interaction with operations teams and manufacturing engineering in order to ensure that data and documents have been completed correctly and compliance verified.

What You Will Be Doing
You will support manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and customer requirements/orders through SAP compliance activities.
1. Checking and collation of manufacturing documents and records in support of manufacturing record retention and product certification requirements.
2. Ensure all materials that are released to manufacture are either conforming or all items managed in a controlled manner.
3. Ensuring any non-compliance is accurately recorded and that associated rework is fully documented and closed out.
4. Product Release - generation/verification of guarantee of conformity documentation and signature on behalf of business and managing secure storage, scanning and archiving of lifetime quality records.

7. Experience of working in a Nuclear industry or in a manufacturing business is preferred.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality.
