Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
o Develop and execute a global strategy for creative production services, aligning with the agency’s broader goals and client needs.
o Evaluate and implement structures for creative production hubs, including on-shore, off-shore, and hybrid models utilizing and optimizing existing creative production hubs.
o Identify and assess M&A opportunities to strengthen creative production capabilities.
2. Operational Excellence
o Lead P&L management for the creative production department, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
o Design and manage resource planning, incorporating scalability and flexibility across global hubs.
o Integrate advanced technologies into production processes, including Adobe Creative Cloud, AI tools (e.g., MidJourney), and scheduling tools (e.g., Workfront).
o Establish robust systems for research and development to stay ahead of industry trends.
3. Commercial and Client Management
o Develop competitive rate cards, retainers, and pricing models (e.g., funded head, cost-plus, etc.).
o Partner with sales and account teams to position creative production offerings within client workflows, showcasing clear ROI and value add.
o Build strategic partnerships with technology providers and creative resources.
4. Team Leadership and Development
o Recruit, mentor, and retain top creative production talent globally.
o Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across production teams.
5. Positioning and Value Proposition
o Articulate the role and value of creative production within the marketing procurement agency’s overall offering.
o Define metrics for success, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and creative output quality.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven track record in leading large-scale creative production operations or similar roles.
* Experience with on-shore, off-shore, and hybrid production models.
* Demonstrated financial acumen, including P&L management and pricing strategy development.
* Deep knowledge of creative technologies and tools, with an eye on future advancements (e.g., AI-driven tools, workflow automation).
* Strong understanding of commercials, including rate cards, retainers, and funding models.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience in navigating complex, international organizational structures.
The successful candidate will build and execute a vision to position the creative production department as an integral part of the agency's workflow and value chain, ensuring both operational excellence and commercial profitability.
Location: Hybrid, will require international travel
