What to expect:
You will work alongside the class teacher and therapy teams to ensure each child progresses towards their goals. You will also gain experience working with young people with mild to severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
This role would suit candidates looking to gain experience towards a career or further education/training in educational psychology, occupational therapy, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teaching, and working in the Social Care/Youth fields.
What we are looking for:
1. Strong understanding of the requirement to support pupils with additional needs.
2. Experience supporting young people with SEN would be advantageous.
3. Adaptability, motivation, and the ability to take initiative.
4. Ability to manage challenging behaviour.
