The Governors of Byerley Park Primary School are keen to appoint a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic teacher to work in KS2.
We are a busy, lively school, dedicated to developing each and every child. We offer a wide range of opportunities for children both in and out of school with the intention of giving them a diverse and memorable positive school experience.
We create and foster an atmosphere which is conducive to the progress of all – children and staff. We aim for our children to leave us as confident, happy, well behaved young people prepared for the next stage of their learning.
If this is the kind of school community you would like to be part of and contribute to, then we’d welcome an application from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our strong committed team.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Is a dynamic and innovative teacher.
2. Is committed to excellence, enjoyment and fun in learning.
3. Has a hard working, positive, ‘can do’ attitude to school life.
4. Has had experience teaching in the Primary sector but particularly in Key Stage 2.
And in return we offer:
1. An inclusive school with happy, well behaved children who enjoy learning.
2. An experienced Leadership Team.
3. A staff team committed to high standards.
4. A commitment to continuous professional development.
5. A very supportive Governing Body.
Visits to school are encouraged. Please contact school to arrange a time to visit and meet our Head Teacher.
Applications to be received by 9.00 am on 9th April 2025. Shortlisting will take place on 28th April 2025.
The plan is for teacher observations to take place at the applicants’ schools at a mutually convenient date before the interview.
Interviews will be held on 9th May 2025.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and, if successful, you will need to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure.
As a disability confident employer, we are committed to employing disabled people and people with health conditions making reasonable adjustments to support disabled applicants when required.
