The role?This exciting and varied role includes responsibility for maintaining accurate spatial data using QGIS, developing plans and responding to mapping requests. Carrying out core GIS tasks you will play a key role in contributing to strategic planning and the effective operation of our Estates.
The person?A strong communicator with proven organisation skills, you will be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to work and excellent problem solving skills. With experience of using QGIS to edit, analyse and create plans, you will be confident in working with large volumes of complex data with a high degree of accuracy. Though not essential, knowledge of Python, FME for data processing and the principles of database administration/development will be useful.
