If you enjoy working independently, have a keen eye for detail, and are confident handling financial matters, this could be the role for you What You'll Be Doing: You’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of the Service Office, with a variety of responsibilities to keep things on track each day. Your main duties will include: Financial Responsibilities: You’ll manage the service’s finances, including processing invoices, handling petty cash, and tracking income and expenditure. You’ll keep the Service Manager updated on the budget and resolve any issues. You’ll also complete reconciliations, manage banking transactions, process donations, and liaise with external agencies as needed. Administrative Responsibilities: You’ll provide a range of administrative support, from managing filing systems to overseeing Administrative Assistants. You’ll keep records up to date, handle reception duties, and assist with diaries, meeting arrangements, and travel. You’ll also manage application packs, organise interviews, and maintain stock levels, all while being a key communicator within the service and across offices. What We’re Looking For Essential Experience & Skills: You’ve worked with financial information before and have a solid understanding of financial procedures. You’re confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and can type accurately and efficiently. You’re great at working independently and managing your time to meet deadlines. You have excellent organisational skills and can communicate effectively with people at all levels from staff to service users and external partners. You bring a warm and professional attitude, always happy to interact with a range of people.
