Kitchen Assistant
Job description
10 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum,
Grade: 1, scp 2
We are seeking to appoint a responsible, reliable person to the post of kitchen assistant. The following skills and personal qualities would be advantageous:
1. Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to use initiative to deal with minor problems as they arise.
2. Work individually and as part of the catering team within the school.
3. Able to work in accordance with agreed schedules, comply with Food and Health and Safety Regulations and work to a high standard.
4. To assist in the preparation of meals, setting up for service, supervision of pupils and general kitchen duties, to the agreed standards.
