We are currently recruiting for a Head of Sales to join the Southeast region.
As Head of Sales, reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective regional sales strategy consisting of Business Development Managers & Internal Sales Managers, ensuring we have robust and consistent sales processes and management of those processes allowing a motivated sales team the ability to fully focus on delivering maximum revenue.
This is an exciting role that requires an experienced and successful sales leader, someone who can demonstrate leading their teams with passion, confidence, credibility, and focus.
You will need proven successful leadership of managing regional sales teams, experience in influencing and building relationships with senior management teams, strong analytical skills, and the ability to put strategic vision into practice!

Responsibilities Include:
* Developing and maintaining customer relationships to win business for Nationwide Platforms.
* Identifying and progressing opportunities for new lines of business, including the identification of new growth sectors & customers, in accordance with the business development strategy.
* Contributing to the budget process for the team.
* Managing a team of sector specialists utilizing measurement tools to ensure consistency and improving performance.
* Overseeing the regional sales team in the progress of key accounts.
* Liaising between the UK Business Unit and BlueSky; addressing delivery, new product, supply, and any other BlueSky related issues, ensuring these are communicated to the relevant person(s).
* Negotiating and managing contracts at all levels for the mutual benefit of Nationwide Platforms and the customer.
* Working with and gaining the cooperation and commitment of other Nationwide Platforms functions in support of business development.
* Being responsible for the risk management of key accounts.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be:
* Extensive experience of strategic sales management within a plant and/or equipment hire environment.
* Excellent analytical ability and use of data to develop both tactical and strategic responses.
* Ability to prioritize and maintain deadlines.
* Excellent upward and downward communication skills with the ability to deliver easy and difficult messages with professionalism.
