We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistants to support Ward 18 - Recovery and Rehabilitation Unit. The ward is busy and you will need to be able to work under pressure at times. You will work within the established nursing team on Ward 18 alongside registered nurses, healthcare assistants and therapy staff providing care to patients on the ward. Main duties of the job Promotes a 'can do' attitude and determination to develop and sustain a dynamic and responsive clinical and administrative support service within a Community Hospital / Community Team setting which delivers best practice. Promote and enhance the health and wellbeing of patients. Promote and improve the patient experience / journey. Empower patients and promote patient shared/self-care where appropriate. To observe the general behaviour, ability and response of patients/clients and to record the information and report to qualified staff as and when required. To deal appropriately with interruptions, unpredictable events and behaviours.
