Business Development Manager (Electronic / Arcade Division)

A fantastic Business Development Manager opportunity to join a leading Holiday operator on a fixed term contract. This Business Development Manager job leads the space and revenue optimisation of the arcade estate, working with key internal departments, partners and focus operational teams to accelerate sales and contribution, ensuring revenue is maximised from all existing arcade space.
As a Business Development Manager you will work with Business Intelligence, Finance and Proposition teams to develop and interpret data and insights on arcade performance across the arcade estate, setting KPIs to manage performance improvements.
Project Management:
You will oversee the planed roll-out of space optimisation projects across the estate, prioritising parks, identifying and addressing other development factors (air handling, electrics, arcade team set-up) and working with regional operator teams to ensure all optimisation plans are delivered on time. A key aspect of the role will be to spend time on park to support heat map process and oversee changes through to completion.
This role spends its time 50% planning and 50% implementing. Up to 30% of time on parks including national travel as required.
Key Performance Measures include:
* Grow Arcade revenue contribution and achieve annual budgets
* Increase Arcades guest NPS and owner satisfaction
* Develop Arcade specific growth plans linked to arcade optimisation and heat maps
* Develop Arcade specific average revenue by machine targets and reflect in 5-year plan
* Achieve individual in-year arcade contribution targets from space optimisation and heat maps
* Develop tracker for machine downtime and measures to improve
Profile / Candidate Experience:
* General Leisure industry knowledge and experience.
* External factors (economic / legislative) and how they influence the Electronic Leisure function
* The operational impact of commercial decisions
* P&L knowledge in full and specifically the role of sales and margin
* 5 years+ experience in an account management or operations manager role with major leisure or retail business.
* Experience of working in a head office environment
* Stakeholder Management
* Leading or working closely with operational teams
* Demonstrates ability to create strategic plans that balance guest, team, and business drivers
* A strong relationship builder
* Confident and clear communication
* Collaborative and consultative approach
