Maintenance Electrician required for an NHS contract based in Manchester.
Your new company
You will be working for an NHS contract that provides hospital and integrated health and social care services to over one million people living across Greater Manchester. Their 20,000 colleagues care for people in hospital and in the community, working across Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, and Salford, to save and improve lives.
Your new role
You will provide a comprehensive electrical service to all wards and departments in a multi-disciplined environment, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures. You will provide emergency response and undertake on-call duties as part of the on-call team to ensure that emergency repairs occurring out of normal hours are attended to.
What you'll need to succeed
* Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent
* 18th Edition IET wiring regulations
* Level 2 Electrical Engineering or NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Time served apprenticeship
* Post qualification experience and knowledge in Electrical services
* Broad experience in Electrical services including Electrical Power & lighting, Electrical distribution equipment, Motors, Pumps, and controls.
* Current full driving licence
* Use own initiative
* Communication and interpersonal skills
* Good level of written and verbal English skills
* Ability to work in a team
* Capable of working in a demanding service line
* Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision
* Ability to work to deadlines

£29,970 - £36,483 per annum Salary period Yearly Grade (Band 5)
