Key Responsibilities: Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the educational requirements of students with special educational needs. Adapt Teaching Methods: Modify teaching approaches and materials to suit the diverse needs and interests of students. Maintain Classroom Environment: Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures to ensure a conducive learning environment for all students. Assess and Track Progress: Evaluate students' performance and monitor their progress to ensure they achieve their developmental goals. Collaborate: Work closely with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to enhance student learning. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions and stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and regulations in special education. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or equivalent certification. Experience: Proven experience in special education, particularly with students aged 4-19. Understanding of SEN Challenges: Deep knowledge of the challenges faced by SEN students and effective strategies to address them. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Supportive Environment: Ability to create and maintain a compassionate and supportive classroom atmosphere.
