Role:
RAP Industrials and Renewables are looking for an experienced, confident, motivated Telesales / Account Manager.
The successful candidate will play important role in the businesses plan for future growth, keeping in regular contact with a customer base of installers, helping to manage day to incoming enquiries, increase spend with low spending accounts and be pro-active in opening new customer accounts.
You must be comfortable contacting potential new and existing clients via phone, email and social media, and have the ability to accurately identify and qualify opportunities.
This role is all about growth and we are looking for the right candidate to grow with our business.
Responsibilities:
· Be able to demonstrate previous experience in an internal sales role, involving lots of telephone sales work / cold calling included.
· Competent in use of social media, LinkedIn etc to network sales leads.
· Able to promote, products, services and training to prospective customers through various marketing activities.
· Ability to build rapport with potential clients / dormant accounts. (after all, people buy from people).
· Ability to use computers and experience working with a CRM database to record sales activity.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills, make sure you call people back when you agree to call them.
· Demonstrate that you are self-motivated and hungry to succeed in this role for yourself and the company
· Ability to work using your own initiative whilst being a team player
· Potential to attend company exhibitions and events, both onsite and outside the business
Key competencies:
Knowledge of the Solar PV wholesale market preferred essential
· Positive attitude, friendly and motivated, able to build positive relationships with potential, dormant and existing customers.
· Good market research skills, find the companies, decision makers and buyers.
· Excellent social media, networking and marketing skills
· Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Accurate data entry on the company CRM system, logging all calls, call backs and relevant info
· Identify and discuss new business opportunities with the Head of Renewables
· Excellent internal communication with the wider team.
· To achieve targets and deadlines set by the Head of Renewables
